Been pretty quiet around here recently (obviously we're all training hard, instead!)

This time in 8 weeks I hope to be nursing aching muscles, a monster hangover, and preferably have woken up still wearing the medal that I will actually get this year :)

8 weeks?! Eeep! That's only 6 weeks of proper training. 5 more decent long runs. My plan (P&D) has suggests doing a few "tune up" races, so I've got a half, a 10K and will prob do 5K park run too. So more races trying to get PBs in next 5 weeks than in last 5 months!

Hope everyone's training is going well. :-)G

:)G - I think you'll be fine - you're putting in good training!

I've got a half in 4 weeks which will either be a mental PB attempt, or a sensible MP run. Then there's a 10k five days later... It'd be rude to not try for two PBs in a week, right?!

8 weeks, wow!! I've got a 20m race next week and then 2 halves, that only leaves only 3 weeks for LSR!!

Jamie - we must have a v similar schedule! I also have a half in 4 weeks time (Alloa 17 Mar) and then a 10K 6 days later (Grangemouth)! I don't think I'll PB the 10K but I'm going to give the half a go.

Sorry to hear that Herman. Hope you recover quickly.

Sazza, good luck at the 20 and the halves. How many of those are PB target races? Are some just being done as faster training runs?

I'm quite surprised there isn't more VLM chat actually. I guess it all revs up in Mar/April?

Here's a Q - does anyone know if there will be a Tracker app or website to track progress of individual runners? Adidas did one on their website, a few years back, but there wasn't one the next year (I think). :-)G
