Hotel booked! I haven't booked any races yet as the new year is going to be in turmoil anyways with moving and a new job. the training schedule will be challenge enough! For LSRs I'm hoping to convince my OH to come out on his bike with me. I'll book into races nearer the time if I'm up to it (and not actually race them).

Well done FL :)

nope GM -figured that what he doesn't know about can't worry him wouldn't notice how long long runs are 'cos I always do them when he's at work at the weekend. I'm still half expecting to defer the place - once I get to Feb and am struggling :)

Finishing without dying would be good :)
I would like to think that 5:15 is a realistic target, if the training gets done properly. There is of course a more optimistic target - the fault of the predictor that comes up when entering half times, but I'm trying to ignore that right now :)
