Was going to suggest that people can stay further afield if the hotels in London are pricey. Guildford is good, and only 45 minutes from Waterloo on the train.

What races are people doing prior to this? I'm still not sure about deferring, but have booked Wokingham Half in Feb either way. Wondering if there should be something else in there as well.

Worth puttign a 20 in there somewhere HB - I've got the Cranleigh 15/21 this year. Did the Surrey Spitfire in prep for Brighton last year, and it worked well

Ah yes, had heard about the Spitfire. Does that sell out? Just that I've already paid for Wokingham and Bupa 10k this month, and December is, well, expensive ;-)

I could, then the gf would kill me as we have asked for vouchers to buy house stuff ;-)

I assume it does fill up then? In which case I'll find a way.

Do you know the difference between the two (apart from names, date and one mile of course) :-)

21 miles as a race a month before sounds ideal, but if Cranleigh is some beast of a course, maybe it kills me and I don't recover in time for London. Whereas Spitfire gives me six weeks to lick my wounds ;-)
