From Fetchpoint thread. Is there any plan for meeting up afterwards? If past years are anything to go by then the top floor of the Chandos will be absolutely HEAVING with Fetchies! I doubt if we'll want to change the meeting place, it's pretty convenient and most people just sort of gravitate towards it now.

That's great PaulaMc. And can you tell me when Fetchies start arriving there and how long they stay? I'd like to see some Fetchpointers, but chat on Fetchpoint thread is that lots of them stay until the last runner comes through (quite rightly), which is quite a while. I'm just now sure how long I will be able to stay awake! :-)G |

Usually the 3 hour runners are in there first, along with some of their support crew. Some Fetchpointers stay at FP until the last one goes through, and then there's packing up time so they usually arrive about 4 ish (if I remember rightly) There's usually a flow of people throughout the day. The runners stay until they can't stay awake anymore and a hardcore are there until about closing time. The sofas in Chandos are quite comfy so you could have a power nap during the middle of the day. Nobody will cover you in peppa pigs and post pictures in the gallery

Lol! Anyone chucks Peppa Pigs at me, even if I am asleep, I'll eat 'em. I can do that in my sleep, I'm sure! :-)G

Yay pub Chando's has even become my friends post-marathon tradition as I have dragged them there to meet me after running, and after fetchpointing when Im not running. Hooray for Chandos. PS is it Chand-os or ChandO's? |
