Plenty of excitment here as well, only 3 runs left to go and more importantly one day at work.

Very excited here too, 1 10k left to run and then its feet up and carb loading all the way for me. Just 1 question though, has anybody done a long run in the rain? I've been quite lucky with the weather and managed pretty much all of mine in the dry, is there anything i should expect to be vastly different? ie. increased chaffing, heavier shoes etc? |

Chaffage might be an issue, and if it's heavy rain beware of it getting in your eyes so you have to squient up into it, can be quite painful. It's a bit more sapping, morale-wise, but better than blazing sunshine. I don't think you'll be at a disadvantage having not trained in it. |

Extremely excited, slightly nervous, here! Trying to get in the right mindset to enjoy it, but every so often remember 2009, when I ran out of puff very early on... I quite like running in light rain, which can be refreshing, but never tried a full-on downpour. Is that the forecast?

I wear a cap for rain - especially useful if you wear contact lenses.
