It’s changed a lot Doogs, and for the better I think. WWE is very much no longer the only game in town and the competition has driven up standards.

TV is for dullards. Chuck your sets out; there’s nothing worth watching. Doesn’t matter if it’s blokes in flat caps or cake-offs. Load of rubbish the lot of it

I'm hoping it's a lot less 'roidy than the late 80s, Nellers - the early death toll of wrestlers from that era (Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, etc) is pretty grim...

There’s certainly a lot less obvious use of the “WWE diet” these days. Do you reckon there’s enough interest for Fetch Wrestling Thread? I count 3 of us with at least a Passingham interest now and according to the proverb that’s a crowd isn’t it?

A lot of the old WoS wrestling is on YouTube now. Johnny saint, Jim Brakes, Dave Finlay before he crossed the pond, Marty Jones. Some great old stuff. Johnny Saint, by the way, is currently the General Manager for WWE's UK division. |
