Diogenes Aug 2019 3:16pm, 27 Aug 2019 39,640 posts	0 Diogenes Paper straws are unpleasant to use and don’t really work. They set my teeth on edge and trigger a gag reflex (as does wooden cutlery). It is impossible, for example, to drink a McDonalds milkshake through a paper straw, even when you swap to second one half way through, as my daughter found out today. There really needs to be a better solution. In the meantime I shall make a fortune selling illegal straws on the black market.
