I was in a cycle of weekly promotion/relegation, but that seems to have stopped. I think I'm in 25 now.

Magpie Rob
I've been flip-flopping between 8 and 9 for months now. Dead last in Div 8 one week, then top of the league in div 9 the next.

I think it's because I have reasonable long distance times while my shorter race times are relatively poor.

I've been improving my 5k time (parkrun in other words) but longer times are letting me down. Especially because I haven't run a 10k in over a year so it's my half marathon time that it is using.

Basically if I did some more more races I'd get a few points without actually having to get faster than I am!

mr d
Just realised there are two UTMOST threads, I got a bit confused as my comments from last night were missing.

Joined a couple of months ago and had to sit patiently week after week until settling into the same number. Since I won't get a notification for moving up, I'll probably start forgetting about it! ;-)

So now after a few weeks i think i advanced to the place where i need to better some times to be in the top again.
Really cool metric/chart/competition or what you might call it :)
