Nope I made it to le Flegere which was meant to be at 30 miles .... If it had been I would have made the cut off unfortunately it was at 31 and the "1" was all vertical

So close! I sympathise, that final climb up La tete aux vents is awful on tired legs.

Sounds like you did well anyway Gromit. Not easy to prepare for these types of events if you don't live in the mountains

Unlucky gromit, sounds like a fine effort, though with an agonising early finish

What a shame, Gromit The climate does seem to be a major player in the UTMB series. Will you go back and have another attempt?

Bobs had an unbelievable run, first British lady and third Brit overall. Think she was in the top ten ladies.
You have to judge results like this in context, the TDS had 1800 starters and it was a quality, international field. 700 pulled out along the way.
Needless to say, I'm very proud of her 😄

DT "Bob's Exile" like it 😃 Having seen Bob's run close up, well for the first 8 hours, I wholeheartedly second NE's comments. She was simply awesome.

Excellent running Exiles, tough luck Gromit.
So, NE, having done all three of, how do they compare? And which do you prefer?
