Thanks for all the support I'll give it a good blogging later, but as you've probably surmised I struggled with the downhill sections later in the race and lost a lot of time and places from Col de Montets and Le Flegere, my feet were agonising and it was hard to block out yhe pain.

I doubt many mortals (or anyone actually) run negative splits over 26.2 miles Martyn you did brilliant and it was well worth staying up half the night refreshing your race status every ten mins *stalker*

UTMB appears to be where humans go just a little superhuman Following the tracker didn't really give much idea of the terrain or how you were coping - but you completed another feat of endurance.
