flip Aug 2011 8:02am, 28 Aug 2011 4,175 posts	flip thanks for all the good wishes particularly on facebook. had breathing problems going over the 2nd top and just thought it was the altitude but it was soon apparent someting was wrong. wheezing chest and coughing . I was getting murdered on the ups and even tho I could take over 100 on the downs (110 to be exact its a game I sometimes play ) I knew the game was up . anyway I was trying to blag this race unfit but not breathing as well is asking a bit much . got back to the chalet to find others bad and loon had to pull out with the same . seems like we have all picked up something . I wouldnt mind but even tho I was loving it in the mud ,rain, cold and snow and we just had our first glimpse of sunshine . still nobody died and I now know the first half . think ill do the ccc which is the 2nd half next year and do the full the year after . had a great week and seen some amazing sights. apparently I was in italy when I pulled out . never been there before thanks for all the good wishes particularly on facebook. had breathing problems going over the 2nd top and just thought it was the altitude but it was soon apparent someting was wrong. wheezing chest and coughing .
