Pilgrims this weekend is worth 2pts. Not that i'm bothered tbh, i've no intention of doing UTMB, i'll leave that to the mountain goats on here.:)

Thanks for the info everyone. Any opinions on Ridgway? I see its a 3 pointer, what the course like?

The Ridgeway is 3? I'd do that on then as it must be one of the "easier" 3 pointers.

Justin, the Fermanagh 100k is the new 26 Extreme event. Last weekend in august I think, I'm not sure there's anything on their website yet though.

Unless I can get out of other commitments the Ridgeway might be hard to get to, so the full UTMB may be out for next year. Anyone ever tried the CCC or TDS races at the event?
From reading about them the CCC is a shorter race, on a similar course and the TDS is a 110k race on mainly open paths and trails on a different course. Is that about right?

ogee I first asked UTMB to grade the NDW races in November. A month ago when I withdrew from the UTMB because of entry into the Grand Slam they finally acknowledged my request for qualifier points. A further 3 weeks on and I have just sent them my 10TH e mail requesting clarification on what the NDW100 will get. It stacks up as a 4 pointer in their grading but then they seem to deduct points based on number of aid stations, of which we are providing quite a few. So all in all 3 or 4 but I expect 4. If they EVER bother getting back to me. I have promised to let runners that have already entered the NDW100 know of what we get given so I will do the same on here. I imagine it will be quite a big selling point for quite a few people.
