Word on the street (and by street I mean entry list spreadsheet) is that Bob Brown is running. Winner of the 2004 race across america. Might be picking his brains a bit.

I'd half forgotten about this (these) race (s) after not getting in to GUCR. Original plan was to do both days, however I've just been looking for a race on Saturday to double up with a parkrun and now find myself looking at the logistics of doing this on Saturday.

If you've done this before what footwear would you recommend, I've run on towpath events before and managed in roadies, I guess over 45 miles you get the whole range of towpath conditions? cheers. |
