The Appalachian Trail, doesn’t Scott Jurek hold the current record?

Wasn't Scott's AT time beaten not long after he did it?

This site's good for these sort of things

fastestknowntime.com

For the AT, it has northbound and southbound, both supported and unsupported, male/female, etc

SJ did northbound supported in 46d 8h, which has since been reduced to 41d 7h by Karel Sabbe

Yup, intrigued. Both by the logistics and route planning of the triple BGR and by how far the BGR concept is going to be stretched now it's been demonstrated that multiples are possible.

well that puts my Hadrians Wall into perspective.... Wow some incredible people out there.

I've just signed up for The Wall so I will need all the help, guidance and advice you guys can share to help me get to a 69m run. I have done 1 ultra which was Hardmoors Princess (30/31m) but this is another level - I am more excited than I think I should be but I do have 18 months to prepare.

For starters remember, despite the impression they tend to give, that a lot of it is road running and make sure you train on the tarmac as well as the trails.

I will do Flanker I noticed it’s 80% tarmac I ta lot of my training will be road just by nature of where I live and I can do my local woods & fells for the hills.

I know I need to work on fuelling. I’ve got vVLM Sunday and while I’ve not done long runs (last min decision to join a friend) I’ve not taken on water let alone food (only done up to 14m)
