I am doing it this year. I was planning on only doing the half again but started panicing as I am booked to do RTR and I was told it is quite hard and am I doing an Ultra before it. The cut offs are quite strict I believe but it has good support they love long distant in SA.

BB - i warmed up for Comrades with 10 marathons in 10 days & did Big C a fortnight later & enjoyed it 56 miles is a bit far for me really. I scraped round in 9.47 - I thought a Bill Rowan was optimistic (had never done more than 33 miles before) & so it proved but certainly not dissapointed with that. DP - this year ? you might have missed it ?

Done it, good race. Just trained for it like it was a marathon and used it for getting ready for the Comrades. Winter weather in the UK - that is what gloves are for. Great place to go :¬) |
