I have been thinking this through, and essentially in my garage i can hold on to the roof joist to get going. Ion the forums, people talk about starting in a doorway, so they can stick their elbows out to stabilise themselves. But apparently you 'get used to it'. |

I got my husband the tacx sirius - it was 2nd hand from ebay and came highly recommended from Argie- i thought it better off to get a 2nd hand decent one than pay the same price or cheaper for a "lesser quality" one.....that was april 2011....he has yet to use it...

you Do get used to it, and after a while you don't need something to hold on to even for starting and stopping!

the point of rolllers is eventually you will not need to concentrate, it will become natural and your balance much improved.

How loud is your turbo? I can watch telly as long as I'm happy to deafen the family, and below a certain rpm, it's awful. Anything to be done? Or accept my lesson and start saving for the turbo I should've bought.

I got a Tacx one. It's. Ery very loud, but I am in the garage so nobody is upset. From what I read at the time that I was looking, even the expensive e ones can be very noisy. |
