Triathlon Training in south wales!!!

I have never done a Triathlon before but done plenty of running so this part is not a problem!! However i haven't much of an idea of what to expect so anybody with a bit of advice would be very much appreciated ... even better, anybody in south wales who would like a training parter!!!
