It's just that thought experiment of "what if this was my son" that I struggle with.

It actually doesn't matter how many women want to signal that they are comfortable with it, it remains a fact that there are many who are not for a variety of reasons. And that needs to be respected.

Where do you propose trans folk get changed? If you've got 15 people who are fine with it, one who isn't, you're saying that that one person gets priority? Trans women would be fearful and uncomfortable in a changing room with cis men, and trans men in a changing room with cis women. Enby folk get what? Trans folk aren't out to hurt you, they just want to live their life being who they truly are.
