Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Training analysis tool gone (or am I too blind/stupid/tired/etc. to find it?)

thanks for that Rosehip, I'll bookmark that. It's not quite the tool that I was looking for but it comes quite close. It shows me the mileage per 4 week quarter of the 16 week training that was done for the marathon and also the previous attempt and the result so it's very useful.

Thanks Becca, I was positively surprised, getting close to 3:30 with less mileage than last year due to a bad cold mid-way through the 16 week period - effectively I had 2x 6 weeks of training for it. I'll give it another go at a spring marathon in 2016.

And also thanks to Badger for sending the feedback.

Is the average pace the average of all training, or the long runs? I see people trying to run 100 miles in 24:00 average 4:40 a mile, not too shabby.

(admittedly, bit of a small sample size on that though!)

If the sample size is below (say) 50, I'd take it with a pinch of salt. What did you choose to get that one?

The average pace is the average of all training.

Distance: 100

Units: Miles

Target Time: 24:00

Is it confused because my settings are in km? I often see other runs with paces that seem wrong.

And yeah, not basing any training off the numbers, just curious is all :)

Ok - I see - that's a bit of an extreme case :-) It sounds like it's picked up just one matching log, and perhaps that one particular user has made a mistake (or is Lightning McQueen).

This is a more useful example (a 3hr marathon - way beyond my hopes, but with 111 matching training logs):

Ah, yes :) That looks more sensible. And a bit fast.
