Trafford 10k - Can I hitch a ride?

Bit of a long shot this but is anyone running Trafford 10k the following Sunday from the south / Midlands area and has a car space? I'm at Birmingham, entered the race ages ago and hadn't anticipated how difficult it would be to get there! It's a 9.30am start so I'm pretty stuck doesn't appear to be many trains running outside the city centre and I don't know the area - More than happy to get to a more local station (if possible) if a local person could pick me up. Regardless any suggestions would be much appreciated, Cheers |
