Dec '21 westmoors - 365 - 345 - 25 Didn't make the target but hey ho!

Will set the same target for 2022. An hour a day sounds easy, until life happens!

I got to 700, thinking 365, i.e. an hour a day, was quite a lot...
So this year, I am going to try and maintain 700 :)

Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr)
OK TTTTers, here we go, time for the update.

For next year, how about we have a monthly roundup volunteer list? And each volunteer could do it in their own style. Maybe use different emojis rather than heart and blackheart, could use dog and blackcat or champagne and pint or cake and *chocolate* or something (I may have got some of those wrong...!)

Anyhoo, my total this year was a woeful 277 against my 420 target, with only 17 in Dec. I'd blame calf injury, but as it was mostly recovered in Nov/Dec, that's clearly b*llocks! I'm going to set lower for next year!

Dec '21 Name - Yr Target (hours) - Yr So Far (hours) - This Month (hours) - On target?

muppet Dec '21 HappyG - 420 - 277 - 17 - Terrible year, but health and happiness, so not complaining! :-) G
heart Dec '21 Autumnleaves - 500 - 538 - 42 - Target achieved :) Not as many hours logged as last year, mostly because I did far less walking. Lots more running hours though :)
blackheart Dec '21 westmoors - 365 - 345 - 25 - Didn't make the target but hey ho!
chaffinch Nov ‘21 Scribs - 350 - 345 - 20 - #PleaseCheckIn!
heart Dec 21 geordiegirl - 600 - 605 - 48 - There was a time I thought I’d over pushed expectations but it was achieved thanks to becoming a 100k runner this year!!
heart Dec '21 Sweetie - 450 - 475 - 27 - Target achieved.
blackheart Dec '21 Nellers - 400 - 370 - 16 - Worst month of the year hit by injury and head wobbles. Good luck to all for the new year!
blackheart Dec '21 GimmeMedals - 365 - 304 - 18
Nowhere near last year's TTT, but much higher than any of the preceding years, so not all bad :)
heart Dec ’21 Alice the Camel - 450 - 423 - 14 - Ran out of steam these last couple of months! ... keep following your dreams!
medal Dec '21 NordRunner - 500 - 803 - 54. Higher than I expected die [sic] to Fetch games and working on streak average. (We don't have "winners" but... 805 hours, WOW!)
heart Dec ‘21 Big G - 550 - 539 - 45. A bit short but I’m happy enough, although December was a bit low due to festivities etc.
heart Dec '21 AdrianB1066 - 700 - 746 - 10 - Very pleased overall hitting TTT target
chaffinch Oct ‘21 NDWDave - 620 - 581 - 107 #PleaseCheckIn!
heart Dec '21 Hanneke - 365 - 700 - 37 - I now realise that I actually walk a lot and ... cycle a hell of a lot too...
chaffinch Oct' 21 Fenland Runner - 365 - 351 - 20 - #PleaseCheckIn!
chaffinch Sep '21 EvilPixie - 480 - 343 - 28 behind (sorry you weren't feeling well)
medal 2021 - Sigh 000 - 000 - 000 - Honorary lifetime member (no target '21!)

Hopefully we'll get Dave, Scribs and FR's updates.

Time to start thinking about next year's targets! What are you going for everyone? Let me know and I'll start a new list! :-) G

I think 700 is a good target to maintain for me Happy :) I reached that this year, see if I can keep it up! First couple of months will be hard because I work on finalising my building but once I am moved in in March, I should have more time for proper exercise again.

Autumnleaves
I think I will stick with 500 for now and adjust if I manage to increase my monthly average.

I am going to reduce my hours to 500 the focus on time was good as it encourages me to do more stretching but I am going to have a heart with goals but less pressure. I may adjust mid year.

Thanks for the thread and I’m sure we can take turns in updating the monthly targets - I just might not be timely at it as you.

TheScribbler
Hello, sorry for the delay. I had to manually log quite a few walks that I tracked on my Apple watch. Having a wee doggy to stay over Christmas meant I got regular walks in even when I couldn't fit much else in.

So my total for the year is:

Dec ‘21 Scribs - 350 - 360 - 16 - target achieved!

My target for 2022 will be 365 hours

Fragile Do Not Bend
I’m also having a no target year - well I have set some distance ones but I’m not bothered if I don’t hit them. Thanks G and might be back on this thread next year. :)

About the thread:

A shout out if anyone else wants to set themselves a goal in terms of time training (hours).

Remember, whatever you want to count as training... counts as training. If it's walking the dog, cycling to work, mindfulness and meditation, knitting, whatever you want to track, you track the hours!!

For anyone who wants to join us - it's easy, just estimate how many hours a year of training you want to do, and each month we see if we're on target.

2024 is a GO! :-) G

Here we track time spent doing anything you want to track as training. Ideal for non-runners, cross trainers, walkers, the injured etc!

Inspired by Sigh's blog (even though he's not playing any more!) fetcheveryone.com/blog/83896/2019/7#blog395919

Time has now been added to most logs, summaries and graphs, so thanks Fetch! :-) G
