Nice one J2R, I've added those to the header. If you want me to swap the order, let me know. As some that general doesn't do specific time targets generally till later in the season and doesn't usually declare them publicly, I understand if others don't want to put times down but you can put just target distances/ events if you want. For me I'd want to PB at 1500m and 5000m. 800m would be the next one I'd want to try and PB at; we shall see how much of those I'm willing to do this year but I think they will probably important for working on my speed for the 1500m Think I'm in decent shape atm and 6 weeks to first test feels perfect right now. |

Can I put on record a target of 29.59 for 10000m and 14.29 for 5000m? These rely on my virtual data translating to race performance, and a reasonably quick recovery from my April marathon |

You can indeed anthony. Those are some strong targets and would be big PBs if your profile is up to date? Did you have a break from track?

A covid enforced break yes. I'm in the form of my life, by virtue of going through 2 seasons without injury, and training hard because theirs nothing better to do! I hit 23.58 for 5 miles a couple of weeks ago, although always take virtual efforts with a pinch of salt, likewise I hit 14.45 for 5k last summer. |

Hmm, my profile does not appear to be up to date. Official pbs, albeit set in 2016 are 15.09 and 31.29

From your profile it looks like you haven't run track since 2015? The COVID situation has definitely meant if you're fit you can put a bit more effort into certain runs and it's actually necessary given there's no races for those occasional harder efforts. Not sure I could do full on virtual racing though and those are some impressive times especially virtually. |

SPR there's a full set of dates for the Masters League, but whether or not they go ahead is debateable. I would be unlikely to do an open race as they're generally too short for me. If the Midlands 10,000 goes ahead and doesn't clash with anything I'll defend my title.

Speedy - There's a 10000m planned for 12 September at Nuneaton apparently. Not sure if it will be the champs (they're usually a month earlier I think). I could join masters as second claim for more races at some point. |

Same day as the Great North Run. Typical!
