Guess they like to play the fact that a lot of fans will believe they are innocent.

I believe they're all guilty, lol. At least in the past. I'd love for a big name to come out and admit it and spill the beans on what used to go on.

it had to happen, Tour was rather quiet this yr with no drug scandals, too much focus perhaps on the AC/Lance internal fighting.

Why do they have to do it?

Zulle, Riis, Zabel, Virenque, David Millar and Fausto Coppi have all confessed to systematic doping. Fausto said he took drugs only when absolutely necessary, and that was all the time. Tom Simpson (died of doping) said if ten would kill him, he would take nine. Sad really.

No surprises really, a big question mark about a lot of the top Spanish riders, hence no Valverde this year as if he goes into Italy he will be arrested apparently.

Interesting interview with the guy who developed the EPO test. nyvelocity.com

As well as the Armstrong issue, it throws up the possibility that there are/ were riders in the peloton that the testers know are dopers but didn't test 'positive'
