she wont be able to join us, she says she's sorry & would have definately done it but I think moving to Sweden is just a way of getting out of it....mmm wonder if I can get a secondment too

Ooooo I might come and spectate this if I am around and bring hot drinks (I am so accident prone there is NO way I would survive doing it without breaking a limb) I have actually heard the screams from the direction of Perton when out on an LSR a couple of years ago!

There's now an update on team discounts which is interesting and means more money saved for us Previously, they'd said you can only have teams of 10 and 1 place would be free. So the normal individual entry was £151.20p but in a team of 10 its £136.80p (saving £14.40). Now they've got discounts based on the number of people in the team: 3 - 7 = 10% TD01 8 - 15 = 15% TD02 16 - 20 = 20% TD03 21 - 25 = 25% TD04 26 - 30 = 30% TD05 ...on current form we have a confirmed 18 names which means that we would get a 20% discount taking the cost down to £120.96p each (saving £30.24p, a further £16 off from the previous discount!!!) Bear in mind...if we can get our numbers up to 21, we'll get 25% off. And if we get to 26 we'll get 30% off. So if you know anyone who might still be interested, give them some grief and get them to join us

Toks, yep, currently we have 18 confirmed names in our team which means we get 20% off the usual registration fee of £151.20...so it will cost £120.96. Yes, its a lot of money...but...its a unique, crazy and amazing experience! The race is in Wolverhampton and is on Sunday January 29th 2012. |
