Having a dig around my imported activities (been uploading for a little while, but not really referring back to them), I spotted that the times are all wrong.

I've figured that it seems to be trying to give the time to the closest hour. My 7:56 am start on Saturday would become 8am, and my 8:32 start on Friday would be 9am, and my 5:22pm start on Thursday would become 5pm. But they're showing as 7am, 8am and 4pm respectively - meaning they're all an hour out.

Is this a setting I can change somewhere? I have a country flag badge, which is the correct one (UK), so it's down to an incorrect location.

Hi CW18, and welcome to the forum.

I've got no idea why it's doing that, and Fetch Himself will probably happen along soon as he does do a lot of lurking, and he hates when things aren't working right for users.

However, you might get the message to him quicker if you give this link a try: fetcheveryone.com/feedback-bugreport.php

Hope you get it sorted one way or another.

It's a long term bug-thingy to do with the GPS import and the shifting of times from BST to GMT and vice versa I think.

I'm not sure that it's an easy fix for Ian either, as I'm sure he's said before it's something deep in the way the database works.

(as an aside I've put in a feature request to show the precise time hh:mm format which is encoded inthe GPS info).

Thanks folks

(and of course I meant *not* down to an incorrect location - but I didn't spot my typo until it had posted, and I can't see anyway to edit it!)

You'll also see that if you manually enter training you only have the option to put a whole hour for the start time. I asked Fetch ages ago if he could at least put a half hour in. He said 'no'.

I think the issue is not that they're defaulting to 'on the hour' but to the wrong 'on the hour'

Mine gps uploads have always done this. I can’t remember if it only when we are on BST. The time looks correct on my watch app but something in the upload file picks up a GMT time. I just adjust it manually after I’ve uploaded.
