I've actually enjoyed watching Rhys and I think he's been undermarked and overjudged on occasion. But going on this evening alone, I think he deserves to stay.

One each from me for the dancers who didn't mess up their final lifts.

Talking about crass comments surely Shirley’s comment about Rose blocking out the noise from Rhys dance must be up there as a bit insensitive?

I think Shirley has some distance to travel when it comes to diversity issues, though we can all be a bit thoughtless about stuff like that at times.

I've learned this evening that the celebs are now paid according to how well they do on the show. I think in years gone by, they got a flat £30k which only increased if they did the tour. It said that they earn £25k to sign-up and do the first few weeks which increases to £40k for making it to Halloween. It goes up to £60k for reaching the quarter-finals. The final four get £75k (semi-finalists this year and finalists usually) with the winner getting £100k. It now makes Sunday's results show even more stressful for those taking part as their salaries are seemingly dependent on the public vote and dance-off. |

I suppose some would argue if the licence fee payer is paying for the people who stay in the show and thus get the most money it make sense for the licence fee payer to have a say in where their money goes.

Sushi.
Guess its motivation to make a real effort to improve rather than sign, make no effort and leave with the same money as the winner
