I'll do the renaming later. Shouldn't you also consider the older format 2009-12-30T14:19:42.000Z ?

depite the fact that I've never looked back at any of my imported routes before I just can't bring myself to delete them all in one go. I am enjoying a spot of nostalgia and having a look at a few routes before deleting them individually though :) (I'll get bored soon enough and press the big red delete button ;))

Chris - there are probably less than 3000 in that format, out of 1.5M routes. The 'Imported from ' format accounts for 1.36M :-)

Ah, does this explain something I noticed on a recent import - ascent wasn't noted from the run until I re-saved the automatic route as a REAL route. If that makes sense. It did before I wrote it down. Time for an apple.

lunaman - if you're looking at your training log (list view), and you see any with 0,0 ascent, descent, then just click the glasses, and it should pull in the elevation profile and ascent/descent. No need to save it as an actual route.

Question: if I run with a friend, and want to use their route trace (and they've given me permission to view their full training log), there's an option for me to save the route. But where does that route appear? At the moment, I put in a new name, hit save, and then can't find it anywhere...

Did you save it as a public route?

I think you would need to do that, and then login as yourself, search for it using postcode or place and then duplicate it and save that into your routes.

Of course I am no expert and may be completely wrong, but I think that is what I did in order to check out the Taunton Marathon route before I actually ran it.

Apologies for asking this question... I'm a little dense and I would like to get it crystal clear in my mind.

1. If I delete a route from my route list will it delete the corresponding information stored in my training log?
2. If I delete the route from my route list will I lose corresponding conquercise information?

Many thanks in advance :)
