lol runjogcrawl-yes, that was me with my highly sophisticated ultra marathon kit! A plastic tray under the car with flat coke and Nunns tablets.
I have not stopped eating except to sleep since Thunder Run. Great prep for next Sunday's marathon :)

Good to hear I'm not the only one. I probably ate about the same amount of calories (and possibly a wee bit less) than I would in a normal weekend but then ran 60KM! I think I must have burnt several thousand too in nervous energy when the lightning was flashing overhead - I hate lightning!

Great to meet you all - TR24 was a bit of a mixed emotion thing for me this year. But Stander & his Bitches were a fantastic team who were really good fun. A really big thanks to Des & his wife ( sorry forgotten your name ) & Foxy's Enigma team for listening to my moaning about the weather & my back which was proper buggered but after some really painful treatment seems ok now :-) I took my chip off & did my other 2 laps I was determined to get which were hard enough in the daylight! My admiration goes to all those who did night laps in that storm & flood :-)
