Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Well done Daisy! 13.1 miles is a long way.

not-a-parkrun accomplished this morning, which brings me over the 400 for the year. Four-sevenths (0.571428...) of a bin would be appropriate but I don't know how to upload pictures from my phone.

Well done LD - and you were worried you might not make it !

Surprisingly sunny and bright and not as cold as expected. Went anti clockwise on the loop, so faced 'the puddle' from the west, wind behind, and 1/2 mile from the car. Would have been a long detour if we hadn't got round it.

Even the traverse is a bit wet ...

Fab photos

Well done LD and Columba

Dog walk, then some digging in garden moving plants, then another cold walk on the beach with the dog and OH

Home now, just about to make some garlic bread and dinner and then I shall be found on sofa for the evening

Well done Daisy bunting :)

Weather was definitely awfuk for me. It started raining and never stopped. I was enjoying it until about 14-15 miles when the mud got ridiculous, I got cold and the hamstring I tweaked in some earlier mud started tuning up for a symphony.

I love trails and like mud, but I've never been so happy to see tarmac in my life!

That does sound a bit tough Carp but well done medal I hope you warm up quick
And well done Columba, Daisy and NSC medal medal medal
Had a lovely jaunt round the block and a good chat with MrS cousin who has been blighted by PF. I’m a decade older than him so was slightly wry about his despair at being old and broken

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
