Here's as good a place as any. Most ever-rated bands.

Okay, Did opened the bidding with Stone Roses.

I'll add Muse to the list. Glenn will be along at some point and add The Doors.

I hear and heartily cheer your Stone Roses call and shout clearly back with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and U2

The threads are crossing :-o Not only with the Stone "highly overrated and the singer is an arsehole" Roses, but my last post on the previous page mentioned a "thorough cleansing".

Maybe Ian Brown could do with some celery?

PS "ever-rated" - is that posh Essex-speak?

Ladbrokes Trophy, very good race from Newbury, didn't back the winner, but I had a very good win on Flash The Steel in the earlier handicap hurdle, a rather tasty 12-1 too, also backed at very short odds, Epatante, that has an exceptional chance of winning the Champion Hurdle come March.

All in all a very good day's racing.

'Thoroughly entertaining', eh? Better than 'mildly diverting' certainly - but less than 'overwhelming'.
