The Vespers were a pain ... they were caught in stationary traffic and the fumes were killing me. I needed all the oxygen I could get! Nice race - not on top form due to the lurgy but enjoyed the day nevertheless. The resulting 69.94% WAVA is irking my OCD ... needed another 3 seconds. Grrr. |

I've got a nice new WAVA of 60.19% Hooray. I didn't like running through clouds of black smoke chucked out by a horrid horse box, although to be fair it may well have been worse for the horse inside! Where can the VETs results be found? |

I think it's possibly only by filtering on UK results to find the vets |

Thats interesting - Thirsk results have been published by Po10 but because they have messed up the D.O.B data my performance wasnt assigned automatically! I would urge people with profiles to check theirs has been ![]() |

That horse box was directly behind me for about 3-4 minutes then it moved forward on the other side of the road, low and behold about 3-4 minutes later I saw it coming back from where it had gone! |

I had a fast finish, and by looking at your time Curley45 so maybe you where a good bit ahead of it/me at that point....lucky for you! That said I would rather be in front then behind, when it did overtake me.....ooooow there were some nasty fumes! |

I went through the 5 mile marker in 36:46 so a teeny tiny -ve split I think (although I wasnt sure that it was actually at 5 miles), which could explain it. If I ran even paced I could well have missed it. I remember the TVRs though and the vespas so I wasnt completely asleep ![]() |

Hmmmm according to my Garmin I was at 5m in 36.57, I was 24 seconds behind at the start of the race (Chip minus Gun). Not sure why you did not see it, maybe it was just behind you? |
