We talked today and she was saying how they'd tried to say don't go running and how they wished they'd made him stop and it was gut wrenching. Tried to find the right words but felt so helpless. Talking about how he was tapering for a race at the weekend so he wouldn't have been hammering it. Don't even know his name but I'm almost certain I've parkrun-ed with him. Strange solidarity this running thing. Think it's the way I want to go.
