This doesn't mean I hammer the start and kill myself to the finish, it means I set off well and am confident with letting the pace slack a little before moving up through the field and finishing strong.

Very pleased - I started too slow and was 107th with 2 miles to go so really had to work hard to gain the places but was tough with the rhythm of the race slower than I anticipated. Could've got higher on another day, but then again the course suited me well with the mud! Very pleased. Anyone else racing recently?
