Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

5.5 miles of a tough slippery course today, needed extra long spikes. Good club turnout.

@ Bigchief....
Indeed St. Albans was a good XC this morning, nice three lap course muddy in places but not that hilly, great turn out from all clubs.

Well done Curly and Callum.

Also at St Albans this morning. My second XC and I still haven't made the switch yet from trail shoes to spikes even though I brought them as an option (I keep sticking with what I'm familiar with). Lots of slipping and sliding about all over the place. 17 places higher than last time but I think today was a slightly smaller turnout.

Met League at Ally Pally next weekend. 3x up (and down) the hill. Will have to wear the spikes for that one!

I can back SC up on the muddiness of Halstead. Also hilly. Fun day out, though.

oi you
Tomorrow is the Kent Vets Championships - that'll be the 3rd Saturday in a row doing XC racing.
I got round last week's Southern Vets in 50:06 for the 6mile(ish) course - not at all displeased with that.

Only 5km (ish) tomorrow for us poor old M60's, but we get to run with the girls, which brightens up the day no end. Going to be another very muddy one - it's still lashing it down now.

A veeeeery muddy North East Harrier league race today. After last weekend's slow run, I feel I ran a lot better today :-)

Exhausting Met League at Ally Pally - lots of guys walking up the hill but was determined not to myself. Found it tough going but glad I did it plus got a better time and placing than I was expecting. Muddiest I've ever been. Yet.

Tomorrow's Frostbite is a bit cross country-y.
