Good to see reports today of increasing tension between the head of Wagner and the Russian military. Apparently he's said they're refusing to give Wagner enough ammo.

Putin's speech was brilliantly barking. Always make me ponder....does his insanity mean he truly believes what's coming out of his gob, or does it mean he knows it's bollocks but thinks he can get away with it/convince others it's true based on his own magnificence. |

I've seen that sort of stuff described as a power play. He knows it's bollocks, the listeners know it's bollocks, but they have to applaud and agree as a sort of supplication. Emperor's new clothes stuff.

Clap along or find yourself in the Gulag innit. If supplies/equipment are not being given to Wagner, who seem to have been the shock troops, does this mean that Russia's supplies are as perilous as Ukraine and is that why China have suddenly been invited for a 'chat'. |

Sadly I think you’re right jda In a previous job one afternoon I spoke to our purchasing manager who told me we were ‘on hold with 80% of our suppliers’. Later the owner / MD told me cash flow was good and we had no financial problems when I asked about what I’d heard earlier. The MD lied through his teeth, and I knew he was lying, but it didn’t stop him, plus I nodded and said that’s good news boss |

It doesn't say in the Beeb's report but apparently it was washable paint so no lasting damage done. I hope it was anyway. I shouldn't approve of such stunts but ... actually, I do. Big fan of Led by Donkeys in general.
