Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ha ha ha - No I don't, its just easier to take out money from the bank and then use it, I prefer using actual pennies so I know how much I am spending etc. It doesn't change the point that I don't want my personal information to be accessed by those who do not need to access it.

A few weeks ago I caught a programme on bbc about a social credit score system in China, that took much of its information from the person's online activity. This is one of the best articles I can find about it, although it suggests that the item I remember most - that you were judged on the scores of the people you were friends with on the Chinese equivalents of whatsapp and facebook.

Are we going to keep this thread for the Labour leadership contest? Or start a new one?

I suggest a new thread would be better as neither candidate has any chance of ever becoming PM.

Although I would concur there won't be a party if Corbyn wins. I suspect Eagle is a stalking horse candidate, for one of the big beasts ultimately , although not many left, but Milli D is the obvious choice who needs to become an MP first. There is of course an uncontested seat vacant.

Corbyn is here to stay. You'll never get rid of him. Even when he loses a general election he won't quit.

Getting young people interested in Socialism is his only aim.
