How's it going folks?

The weather isn't being particularly helpful right now, is it?!

HB, you chose the right time to go away :)

I'm getting cross with myself for not getting the long run miles up properly yet and have decided that Windermere will not be a sub-5 attempt, I shall be more than content with sub 5.30.

If I go sub-5 at Cambridge Boundary Marathon it will be a miracle, my ambition is to finish. Anything else will be a welcome bonus.

My training is getting scuppered by the weather. I’m no longer targeting a sub 5 for Manchester. Just getting round is going to have to be enough but that’s ok.

16 slow miles for me this morning but I'm not worried about pace at the moment. Happy enough with how things are going at the moment. I'll have more idea about where I am after the Ashby 20 next month.

I’ve got the Trimpell 20 in March so that will be my test. Getting sore feet on long runs so I’m looking for solutions to that too. I think my feet must have grown! All my shoes feel too tight after about 8 miles.

16 for me on Thursday will be my test to see whether the holiday has scuppered me. I couldn’t find a 20 mile race to do where the timing worked for my plan unfortunately
