PtB wins! PW=2.26xPB.

Wine was drunk by the marathon runners in the 1908 Olympics, so no excuses Paul.

The PW’s got me looking and 5:40 as an Oompa Loompa but worst on my own was a 4:19. No wine but the others got stuck into the beer.

Started to aim towards a 3:30 with an eye on 3:15 again.

I don't have a personal worst - i prefer to call it my best learning experience ;-)

Just over a week until my first race in almost 2 years and got to say i'm enjoying the taper especially given the surge in the outside temperature this week!

Ive done a few LDWA events and I think one was over 7 hours, but my slowest road one was 4:31 (first one).

God its a long time to run that. The legs afterwards as well 😂

That’s the thing I hate. Have a bad race and your legs hurt just as bad as if you have a good one. Double the pain!!

3:43 my worst mara on a day when an easy training mara at Bournemouth went badly wrong. Ran 3:03 5 weeks later!!

4:41 was my slowest and most recent marathon, but I’m playing the ‘exceptional circumstances’ card for that one ;-)

My next worst was 3:44 at London 2018. Stoosh shouted a greeting and some encouragement as he glided past me, but the best I could manage by way of reply was “I’m f*cked”!

3:24 is my worst, but it had a massive climb that we had to do twice and I was solo (leading) for the entire 2nd half.

3 peaks was a bit slower at 3:55ish and wasn’t even a full marathon distance! There was a bit of walking in that one for sure.
