Simply the extrapolation of Baz's Geometric Progression :-)

(I haven't allowed for any additional factors, like Baz further slowing with age after he's received his telegram)

Hi all,

just to quickly post, I have made the decision to hang up my trainers, due to my MS and made it on my terms... lovely last 3m today to clear the 1000m for the year, my target.

Its been getting harder and harder lately and becoming more unstable.

I will still be around, mainly on my exercise bike in the safety of indoors.

Thanks for all the support over the years and was chuffed to achieve the 3:15 twice.

Take care and thanks again (more info and pics on my blog, the last 3 runs done with my Son, Wife and Daughter)

There's more to life than running, RFJ. Hope we'll still see you plenty in here; you'll always be welcome.

Sorry to hear of your end to running RFJ, but great attitude and to bow out on a high on your own terms. You'll always be part of the running community. Where's my pic...

Exactly what PtB said - hope you can continue on the bike.

Great One year anniversary of Baz’s sub 3 - thank goodness he did it before the pandemic. Imagine if the long awaited sub 3 had been hampered by a pandemic !!!!

That’s a cracking photo. It does make me wonder if there is any person that HG doesn’t have in a running photo.

He even bumped into my family while supporting on one of my near misses.

Lol, thanks all,

Love that Photo, the early stages of Edinburgh, my last marathon, and even though was a 3:43, it was planned and comfortable, (one of my better marathons on the day)
