Quite a few Bowman! The first month I was doing Marcothon and that, if you are not used to doing that every day, starts to get painful - but then it just sort of goes - as if your body just sinks into it.

Have had a few niggles as well where it's been painful.

However, today is the story of where it all really started (2nd Dec). 2 days in sounds daft, but it's my wife's birthday and as we were celebrating, my mom's partner died suddenly too. Literally there one minute and then gone. He was disabled and had a number of conditions (alcoholism being one) but he refused a wheelchair as he wanted to stay mobile as long as he could, and I thought that if he could so that despite the pain, then I would keep going as long as I can.

And so I have.

I thought so Vixx, its years of struggles. And dedication.
Sorry to hear that, but i guess any motivation is a good motivation. (if that translates alright in to eng)
My last training marathon (first time doing that distance) i ran past a tree where i know 3 teenagers crashed a car a few days before that, and they all passed away sad to say. That made me think in the "painful moment" at over 30km in to the training, "Be happy just to be able to do this and stop feeling sorry for yourself.." You can always put things in perspective. (as i said, i hope this translate alright.)
