MSR someone with good form from down under races is a safe bet, too early for the other races, however I think Boonen will not repeat last year's wins.

watch for the Russian state rider and Kazakhs as well.

thmas is our best bet but not in Roubaix, maybe flanders or Gent wevelgem.

I'm thinking Sylvain Chavanel is worth a punt this year

Has anybody seen any glimmers from Boonen? The reports just suggest he is a bit off the pace after this elbow busines.

He was comfortable in the pack on Saturday, but then Chavanel and Vandenbergh were up the road so he didn't have to push it. he's still got a month to get race fit for Flanders so plenty of time.

I think given the elbow thing though he stands a better chance at P-R than Flanders, just as he'll have had another big race in his legs to sharpen him up. Of course it depends on the sort of form Cancellara, Hushovd and any of the outside bets are.

I do fancy Thomas to try something.

They look to be setting him up for one of them. I wonder how EBH feels about that? I would have thought that GT would be better in a hillier race, whereas fat Eddie might prefer the cobbles?
