New (to me) shed day! :)

Just spent a couple of hours today dismantling a shed and removing it back to our house. Offered free for uplift on the local Facebook Sell page, initially I was thinking we could move it whole, but it was at the back of a terraced house, up a very narrow, steep bit of garden so we ended up dismantling it. Probably for the best as there's a wee bit of rot at the bottom of 2 of the wall panels and that will be much easier to sort now it's in pieces.

I forgot to take a picture of it standing, but suffice to say it's old but will do!

I think I blogged about this but omitted to put photos on here, apologies:

And to show you why we needed a new shed, here's the old one :-)

New seaside shed put together by OH last week (I did help a *little* bit ;-) ) My job is to paint it in stripes beach-hut style, like the old one. Can't decide whether to do that straightaway, or if it would be better to let the orange-ness fade a bit first.

Excellent, I would have sworn you would paint it blue and white though.

About This Thread

Maintained by Ocelot Spleens
We got our new shed today. Small and compact, 4 foot by 6, just enough to store ladders, tools mower, spare pots and garden furniture, maybe my bike depending on my insurance. It's about a third of the size of the old one which means we have spaceport a small greenhouse, it also has a good sturdy lock and windows so I might store overwintering tender plants in there too.

Share your sheds here. I know some of you have really posh ones!
