Oh - bad news, Pompey Paul - hope your recovery is speedy, and you can go for something else soon :-(

Very good luck to Sazzahazza and MM - run well and enjoy the day! :-)

So, do we know how they got on?

I'm feeling like a coiled spring.

And so many 'I can do it' / 'I can't do it' thoughts running through my head.

Reading the Brighton blogs has been like a roller coaster ride....

I'm defo in the cant do it category :-(

Not sure what to do with regards the plan for race day, but I'm sure if I go out at 10:18 pace then I'll blow up!

So what pace do you think will not lead to a blow up then?

Things I have gleaned from Brighton blogs:

A. Marathon distance is an unpredictable beastie and you should be prepared to adjust expectations
B. 90% is believing in what you are capable of given training and much is to do with the head

Why do these two seem incompatible?

Wobble.....

Hmmm managed 10:30 at Trimpell 20 so possible I guess.

I think it's more about do I go for 10:18 and as you say adjust on the day or play it safe, enjoy the day and get round with a shiney new PB anyway.....

Wibble, wobble some more........

The only thing that will make me wibble is if the sun comes out and it gets too hot...

Too right ;)

Plenty of time left to change planned strategy a couple times...

I wibbled off the map with this one a while ago. There isn't any way of doing sub-4.30 now I'm afraid :(

Good luck to everyone else though :)
