Have I missed something? Did anyone else do this? a Jolly tough event, and so well organised, well deserving of 3rd best Marathon in Runners World.

It was a great run again, second year and will be back again next year hopefully can I continue to improve finishing position of 5th last year and 3rd on Sunday. Tough but stunning

Oh I want to do this now next year...throws my thoughts on 2014 though....may need to change my plans to fit this in ;-)

I did it this year, it was brilliant! My rate your run comments on Marathon Talk say it all really:

"I ache in new places now but this race was excellent!
Wind, rain, cows, jam sandwiches, super views, a castle, a steam train, cheery marshalls, ice cream, beer, a hi-viz lime green t-shirt,and a marathon PB! what more could you ask?
would have been an 11 out of 10 but that swine Steve Way beat me again by a very narrow 2 hours 40 minutes! :-)"

slowcat, i would thoroughly recommend this! I'm signing up for next year!

Well done AntClark by the way - i am sure you were showered and home by the time i finished!

Did the 16 last year, thinking about doing the marathon this year as it's such a stunning course :-)
