Ted Aug 2009 10:43pm, 10 Aug 2009 4,283 posts	0 Ted Minardi - I have changed the race name to 'Great Eastern Run' so that it relates to all the previous GER races. 124 Fetchies last year and 81 so far this year. i am sure we will pass that number before race day

AgedAlan Aug 2009 7:41am, 11 Aug 2009 199 posts	0 AgedAlan I'm in this year. Had to marshall last year as it was the week after GNR. Thankfully GNR is 3 weeks before GER this time. Entries now over 1800, and I understand race packs will start going out in the next week or so. For those who have run it before, the route has changed a wee bit this year due to the new water feature (!) being built in Cathedral Square. The start is a bit further along Broadway, and the finish is on the Embankment as before. However, most of the course has been reversed, so we will be running anti-clockwise. And, contain excitement, the race starter will be Barry Fry
