:) Greppers

I'm trying to remember if I read Constant Gardener as well as seeing the film. I thought I had, but can't find the book on my shelves so it seems not.

It's going onto the long list.

Bosch seems less of an arse in Trunk Music. This is a good thing. Like his new boss too.

New Le Carré novel (his last :( ) is published on 14 Oct. That’s going on the shortlist.

I’ve just finished a “Clive Cussler” (he don’t write ‘em like he used to…) with “unknown protegé” novel. Utterly dire. A couple of hours of my life I’ll never get back. It’s my own fault. I’m a bit under the weather and I wanted something untaxing. I should have been more careful what I wished for!

Ah. Want Cussler but not rubbish? I have just the series. Only read the first three I think but brilliant Indiana Jones meets James Bond guff. One moment.

Found it. The Sigma Force series by James Rollins. Big daft fun. Just don’t expect literature.

Clarrie the Lice Inspector? She sounds like a bit of a nit.

I’ll see myself out.
