Last night shift tonight!

A bit short of drivers and I’ve been twiddling my thumbs since midnight! Not fun, I’d much rather be busy!

I have 3 different types of earplugs by the bed! I was using some squishy silicon ones but they are sticky and have lost their stickiness!

Another night worker...

Not back until Sunday evening though... 4 on 4 off (but on leave tonight), 12 hour shifts with a long commute so I'm out of the house from 16:00 till 07:00 ish which gives me about an hour to do some form of exercise when on shift, luckily I'm not a big sleeper!

Welcome D! It seems you are on the opposite 4 to me, except I am part time so my shift work 4 and I work 2! I also get to pick which 2 I work! My commute is about 5 minutes in the car!

Thanks RJ, I wish I worked closer for a number of reasons... when I did work closer I was able to run commute most days and two 7.5 mile runs a day certainly adds up!

Sitting in the car for far too long each day coupled with a job that meant being (until the last few weeks) pretty much confined to a desk, just makes you fat, and very lazy!
