I'm excited that a new Doctor and some improved writing will make me enjoy watching Dr Who again, rather than feeling it is a chore. Still sad that it isn't Rose Matafeo though

Re-watched another Matt Smith one last weekend (the one with Van Gogh, Series 5). I don't think it's regarded as a classic but it still blew me away how much I enjoyed it compared to most recent ones.

I’m totally not its target audience, but it is rather good. I’ll be interested to see him in a different role. I hope the writing improves for the next series. I rather gave up on the last few episodes and specials.
