I was chatting to a friend who knows RTD well and worked with him first on 'Why Don't You...?'

She's pretty sure he'll be deeply engaged in the scripts for the next series but says he never gives anything away before production.

I've come over to flanker's criticism: last night's ep. was almost cartoon-like in its frenetic presentation of storylines that viewers might or might not remember. And did it matter anyway?

We 3Ms of Orient Are
Well that was indeed, frenetic!
I'm still not sure what happened before it ended, exactly. And I really can't be bothered to watch it all over again.

Chibnall never created the same sense of involvement with characters or even danger (barring the Weeping Angels episode), that either Davies or Moffat did. I was tired of the little graphics on the screen telling us where and when we were, it didn't seem like good story telling to me.

It was so good I fell asleep half way through, is it worth catching up on?

Or even, just, Nah. I wouldn't even bother reading the synopsis.

It all came out okay in the end. Except for Professor Jericho of course.
