Well, that's me. Best non-finishing mileage (i.e. further than the last couple of years but not as good as finishing it 3 years ago).

This is the best year so far for finishers (9) and probably the best finisher to starter ratio too, although I've yet to do the maths.

Mahoosive well done all round, especially to those who actually raised money for ASPIRE. Don't forget, if you've been inspired and want to make a one-off donation the linkie's over there in the sider >>>>>

Thanks for organising it Angus. And for pushing me to actually do it. I'll shoot over there now and make a donation.

Thanks Angus, I would never have done so much swimming if it hadn't been for the target of the thread. I'll launch Swim the Thames in 2015 next week some time. Really wasn't feeling the love this evening in the pool despite having the new swimsuit and the new shampoo to look forward to.

Very well done everyone. I made a donation to match my fundraising target so I'm all sorted :-) Like Icemaiden this thread and the spreadsheet etc kept me going, so thank you AC!

I haven't swum this week to give my sore eyelid a chance to heal. I'm surprised to find that I've missed it :-(

I'll echo the thanks - as an injured runner and someone who has been in a pool maybe 4 times in the last 17 years, this thread helped motivate me into swimming nearly 40 miles in 8 weeks! Well done everyone who finished, and everyone who came close. ;) I look forward to the Thames challenge soon! :D

Yes, thank you. This made me actually do some exercise. I had not swam for over a year, do not run now, and loved this challenge, and raised some cash for charity. Thanks for setting this up. Well done to everyone.
